Corn Paneer Surprise
250 g boiled and mashed potatoes,
1 cup bread crumbs,
2 cup boiled and lightly mashed mixed vegetables (cauliflower, carrot, green peas),
2 tbsp gram flour,
salt to taste,
150 g finely chopped cottage cheese,
50 g crushed corn kernels,
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves, ¼ tsp garam masala,
1 tsp coriander powder,
1 tsp chili powder,
1 tsp ginger green chili paste,
¼ tsp roasted cumin seeds powder,
2 tbsp chopped spring onion,
¼ tsp turmeric powder,
oil for deep frying.
1) Mix all the above ingredients except bread crumbs, cottage cheese and crushed corn.
2) Mix the cottage cheese and corn together. 3) Now divide both the mixtures into equal portions.
4) Take the vegetable mixture in your palms, and fill in the corn cheese mixture, seal from all the sides and make round balls.
5) Now roll each ball in bread crumbs and deep fry in hot oil.
