Bhutte ka Dhokla
Ingredients: 1 cup chana daal soaked for 3 hrs
½ cup fresh crushed corn kernels,
1 tbsp lemon juice,
2 tbsp oil,
1 pinch soda bi cardb,
1 tsp fruit salt,
1 tsp salt,
1 tbsp sugar,
¼ tsp citric acid.
Heat 1 tbsp oil, add 1 tsp mustard seeds, few curry leaves. Fresh green chopped coriander leaves
1) In 2 tbsp water, add citric acid, soda, lemon juice, sugar, salt, oil and leave aside
2) Make fine paste of the soaked chana daal, leave aside for ½ an hour.
3) Add crushed corn, add the 2 tbsp water mixture, keep stirring in one direction for 1 minute, just before adding the batter to a greased plate add the fruit salt, mix for few seconds and steam till dhokla is ready. Once this cools down, cut into square pieces and garnish with oil mixture and coriander leaves
