1 cup basmati rice, ½ cup sweet corn kernels, ½ cup green peas, 1 finely chopped Onion, 2 cloves, 1 big cardamom, 2 tbsp clarified butter, ½ tbsp finely chopped ginger, ½ tsp cumin seeds, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, Salt to taste
1) Boil the rice and leave aside. 2) Melt butter, sauté onion till it turns to light brown color.
3) Add all the spices and stir the mixture for couple of minutes till you get nice aroma. 4) Add the corn, green peas, turmeric and salt and cook for 6-7 minutes until the corn and peas are cooked on low flame. 5) Now add the boiled rice, mix carefully so that rice does not break. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve
